Waldhotel Arosa in the Grison Alps

Perched at 1775 metres above sea level, the Waldhotel Arosa is surrounded by mighty pine forests and the towering peaks of the Grison Alps. It is this stunning location which means we are able to offer our guests the unique benefits of a high alpine environment and majestic views of the 3000-metre-high peaks merging into the Schanfigg valley.

The Schanfigg valley, which is traversed by the Plessur river, provides a breathtaking backdrop to the Waldhotel Arosa.

Just a short walk from the hotel there are two lifts. In winter they make it possible for guests to enjoy ski-in/ski-out, while in summer it is bike-in/bike-out! The Obersee lake and the Untersee swimming area are also nearby.

The easiest ways to travel to the Waldhotel Arosa

Train

There are trains from Zurich to Chur every hour.

From Chur you can take the Rhätische Bahn train to Arosa (around 60 minutes). We will also be happy to pick you up using our free Waldhotel bus transfer. This service is available on request in summer.
